Σαρλίζ Θέρον: Μαμούθ δωρεά για τη μάχη κατά του κορονoϊού

Η Σαρλίζ Θέρον ανακοίνωσε μέσω Instagram ότι θα διαθέσει ένα εκατομμύριο δολάρια γαι την εκστρατεία «Together For Her» σε συνεργασία με την οργάνωση που έχει ιδρύσει, «The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project» για την ενίσχυση όσων πλήττονται από την πανδημία του κοροναϊού, ενώ το ποσό των 500.000 δολαρίων θα κατευθηνθεί σε καμπάνια για την καταπολέμηση της βίας που βασίζεται στο φύλο.

Συγκεκριμένα στην κοινοποίηση αναφέρει:

«Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της πρωτοφανούς παγκόσμιας κρίσης, μας λένε να καταφύγουμε στην ασφάλεια των σπιτιών μας – αλλά τι γίνεται αν τα σπίτια μας δεν είναι ασφαλή;»

«Για εκατομμύρια γυναίκες και παιδιά σε όλο τον κόσμο που βρίσκουν καταφύγιο με τον θύτη τους, το σπίτι μπορεί να είναι επικίνδυνο. Γι αυτό σε υποστήριξη του παγκόσμιου αγώνα ενάντια στην ενδοοικογενειακή βία κατά τη διάρκεια της κρίσης # covid19, η @ctaop και εγώ ενώνουμε τις δυνάμεις μας με την CARE και το Entertainment Industry Foundation στην καμπάνια #TogetherForHer» ανέφερε.
